Today, we officially show to the world who you are and what God has done with you and through you behind the scenes all your life. It is a journey that has spanned decades, and many lives have been blessed by it.
You are selfless, passionate, very dedicated to family, friends, and strangers alike; and the fire in your heart for God’s work is humbling to any true believer who encounters you.
I have seen you in action many times, but I keep recalling a moment where, after one of your studio sessions with a very expensive suit on, you had to step in for one of your absentee drivers and pick up a client from dialysis. You pushed the client through the rain upon reaching his house and stood outside his house for almost 10 minutes waiting for someone to come open the door for this client. And you stood there waiting with a smile on your face, showing so much compassion for the client and caring less about yourself. That is how selfless you are, and how much you put value on people rather than expensive clothing or the vanities of this world.
When you rang me in Ghana a few months back about this vision, what moved me most was the question you asked me: “what are some of the things you think we can do to help people back home?” Coming from a man who has been out of Ghana for more than 2 decades, that was very humbling. And I’m not surprised that we are here today, after a lot of hard work, to share this beautiful vision with all these amazing people witnessing this event.
When God leads, He guides into every provision for the journey. So, I wish you the very best today as you begin this God-guided journey, and I know we will be here again very soon celebrating how the Lord has done mighty things through you in all the nations of the world.
